2012 - 50th BHS class reunion
Corbn, Drew, Lyle, & Verlin Overbay
Grandson, Corbin, a freshman at SCHS, 2nd from left, made all district.
On Memorial Day I remember my Dad, Verlin Overbay, critically wounded in WW II, and his youngest 2 brothers, Charles and Kenneth, who both died serving in Korea. “Some Gave All!”
I have a God given purpose after all!
Grandson, Corbin, Gavin Joslin, and Kaleb Townsend were selected for coaches showcase in Nashville. All 3 shined for the many college scouts there to observe.
Thoroughly enjoyed attending 50th anniversary party for Eddie Gene and Connie Moody at FBC Blountville today. Eddie Gene and I have been friends since infancy. Nice to see so many "old" friends.
Remembering loved ones who gave all. My dad critically wounded at Normandy, dad’s youngest brothers who died serving in Korean conflict.
My beautiful granddaughter just turned 20! How can she be that old?
