Lyn's Story
After graduating from Page in 1974 I went to Meredith College. In 1980 I married and have two grown and beautiful children. My daughter and her husband live in Greensboro (she is a Nurse Practitioner) and my son lives at Holden Beach, NC (he manages two resturants). I was married for 25 years and divorced in 2005. ave since both of my parents are Alzheimer's patients. I still do a lot of volunteer work and serve a local boards. I began a veterinary tech program in January and although my life is hectic and, at least for now, clouded by the anticipatory grief that is so natural when family members have a disease as horrific as Alzheimer's, I have a wonderful life and am grateful everyday to be able to share it with my very supportive and loving husband.
