I am very proud that I was able to overcome my childhood and then broke the cycle so my children also didn't have to suffer. My various names are at the end of this. I was at VSG in 64-66. Transferred to Lowell HS, where I felt like a complete alien, but graduated in 67, (I had pink hair for awhile) hiding in the bathroom with all the other misfits. Afterwards, I married in 67, had two sons. (I lived in the Haight-Ashbury!) Trained and worked as a Licensed Psych Tech at many places for many years. I divorced, remarried, in 73; had a daughter and a son. Divorced in 83, went back to school at CSU Long Beach with major in Journalism, minor creative writing, graduated '87 with BA. I wrote a column in the paper and was on the magazine, won a prize for a story. I also met Nellie in 85. I was Asst. Ed. for the Lesbian News (under Jinx Beers) for a short while; Moved to the country and went to CSU Bakersfield, major in English Lit, minor writing, grad. 2002 with MA. Started publishing poetry and short stories (I am in 16 or 17 anthologies). Had grandchildren. Was teaching at various community colleges in California. Lived rurally with horses, goats, etc. and was called to a spiritual life because of the animals. I found that being in communion with them was a beautiful spiritual experience. Although I was raised to be Jewish, when I moved to SF bay area, I first studied Dianic Wicca with Ffiona Morgan (continuing some study I'd started in So.
