Lynda's Story
Life
Well I can't believe it's been 30 years!!! since I walked out the doors of LHS! Now that I look back I realize I actually really had alot of fun in high school, even though back then I wouldn't have thought so! I've lost touch with everybody I knew in high school and pretty much everyone I knew or hung out with in Lawrence during my 20s. I hope that all my old friends are well and living their lives to the fullest.
As for me, I had 1 son (who is 28 now) and I became a grandmother on Christmas Day 2006. Yep, believe it or not, I'm a grandmother lol. I never thought I'd see the day myself - but that's life and I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm really loving it!
For those old old friends who remember my family, I'm blessed to say that my parents are still alive & going strong; my brother Brian lives with his wife Patty and their 2 kids in Methuen; my sister Melody is married with 2 kids; and my sister Jodi is a single parent with a 10 year old daughter. Family has always been important to me and we try to spend as much time together as possible. Of course, that's not too difficult since most of us live in the same town.

m near Boston. Some of you may remember that I always wanted to be a hair stylist. Well, I finally did get my hair license in 1987. I worked at a few salons here & there, but the hours were too long, the pay was too little, and I got burnt out too quick - so as much as I loved the profession, I went into law and have been working in that field for about 20 years now. I do maintain my hair license though - just in case lol.
Reminiscing back to my high school years, I have alot of great memories of those weekend parties behind Albrite Carpets, spending weekends at Salisbury Beach; and then later on after high school, all those weekend parties I used to have at my first apartment on Basswood Street (I think this is a good time to say "I'm sorry" to my old landlord); My 30s were alot more difficult, raising a teenager who just got his license was really worrysome to say the least! Anyone who has kids and has been thru their teenage years with them knows what I'm talking about! My 40's have been fulfilling and much more relaxing. The time has certainly flown by since 1977, but I have been extremely blessed with good health and a good life and for that I am grateful.
