Lynda's Story
How do any of us try to squeeze a synopsis of our lives between 1960-2020? Have attended several universities. Worked in WTSU Athletics for some years. It was wonderful and it was great for Todd and Tad. We moved to Hawaii for a couple of years and I worked for the government. Later I was hired in management by USPS National Training Center on campus of Oklahoma University. Both sons attended OU. Todd played Rugby at OU, as later did his son, Tucker. Ultimately, Tucker reached his goal of working in wind energy, after obtaining two degrees from Amarillo College, TJ, my other grandson graduated from Seward Jr. College and Wichita State University, He played baseball all thru sch...Expand for more
ool and later played pro baseball for several teams for a period of time.. I moved and travelled on business frequently from Washington DC to California and states in between during my career with the USPS. I learned and grew from each position I held. . I moved back to Canyon in 2010.. One former classmate commented when she saw I lived in Canyon, “You certainly didn’t get very far.”
Each of us were fortunate to attend a new high school with great kids . It helped set a foundation for the future. I would say we have each travelled far from 1960-2020,whether we lived in many locations or stayed in one area. Great class, great people. My life is better for knowing you Lynda Dufek.
