Lynda's Story
I have had a truly blessed life. I have had many wonderful experiences; met many peoples; made many a friend in all places we have lived. I was married for 45 years. I am no longer able to do some of the things I used to, however, through Prayer I have managed very well. I believe the worst little trial was in 2006 when I found out that I had a malignant Marginal Zone B Cell 20+ Lymphoma Tumor strangulating my spinal canal & I was paralyzed from my chest to my toes. I had emergency surgery 8/15/06. God healed my incision, the lymphoma, etc., before I left the hospital. I have been truly blessed through my life for all the experiences I have traveled.
I have missed our trips to Huntington Beach every weekend from May thru September. I miss many of our friends who have passed on. The best place I have lived was in Utah (outside of the 7 months in San Diego at Crown Point). We had a large home on 1.35 acres of land backed up to the Weber River & a great job the last 9 years there at IRS. I had a great boss & good people to work with in Labor Relations.
I have been to many events, states, places, seen so many things, enjoyed so many wonders that our Creator has made for all to enjoy.
In January, 2009, I started DRIVING ! ! ! That had been my goal!
I hope m...Expand for more
y friends remember me with loving & kind thoughts. I know I have had many a happy time & remember them all with loving & happy thoughts.
I've had 5 great dogs & 4 cats. All since deceased. No more as I am unable to care for one properly.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Ken Olds, because I loved him so much!.
If I won $100 million, I'd give lots of it to peoples, then spend the rest on Unity, God, and Me.
My oldest friend is Joann Zylstra Reisinger. We went to hi school together, went to Huntington Beach a lot; double dated for a couple of years; she lived in my home when I moved out; we shared an apartment; we shared many a party... experiences... WOW! ! ! We were married the same year, exactly 6 months apart; we have had many a similar trial in our lives. We've just been GREAT friends !
I have soooo many childhood memories that I will never forget. It was full!
Hi there! I took a BIG ADVENTURE this month. I rode AMTRAK to Sacramento & toured the Train Museum.
Very, very nice. A trip by myself since ??? My first vacation since May 2006. Wonderful! This too has been a goal since Al passed last year.
My new goal is to take a cruise to Alaska & ride on the train to Denali National Park.
Hope to hear from you. xoxoxo Lynda
