Lynda's Story
After graduation from Monroe High, I attended Central Michigan University for 2 years. I then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and worked with my cousin in my aunt and uncles restaurant until I was hired by the original Frontier Airlines in November of 1966 as a flight attendant (we were stewardesses then) based in Salt Lake City, Utah and then transferred to Denver, Colorado in 1969. I was with Frontier until they shut down in August 1986. I then worked a short time...Expand for more
as a receptionist in a law firm l then as office manager and scheduler for Air Crew Resources. They trained pilots from other countries on the various Boeing jets. Then, in 1993 I became the executive assistant to the CEO and Board of the new Frontier Airlines. When they were taken over by Republic in 2010 I retired.
My husband Skip is retired Air Force. We have been married since 1979. We just sold our home and moved to a
retirement community in Aurora, Colorado.
