Lynda's Story
Life
1962-1965 - nurses's training, Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie
1965 - married, lived in Anten Mills
1967 - had a son
1976 - moved to Moncton, New Brunswick for a year
1984 - graduated from Royal Conservatory of Music with Piano Teacher's ARCT
1987 - move to Kitchener ON and begin undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier U. (FINALLY-- after 22 years of waiting!)
1990 - graduate from WLU with Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
1990-1991 - internship at Queen St. Mental Health Centre, Toronto
1992 - divorce becomes final. Hallelujah!
1991 - begin part time graduate studies at Tyndale Seminary, Toronto
1992 - son gets married!
1993 - begin working as Clinical supervisor in Music Therapy program at WLU
1995 - graduate from Royal Conservatory again, w...Expand for more

1996 - grandson born!
2000 - leave WLU for full time private practice in music therapy
2001 - graduate, at long last, from Master of Divinity program in counselling at Tyndale Seminary
2004 - continuing private practice in music therapy and working for church in Hamilton. Still living in Kitchener.
2008 - retire from music therapy
2009 - Hamilton job ends
2010 - Old Age Security begins!
2011 - living in Kitchener, doing a little piano teaching and wishing there was more, finding O.A.S. impossible to live on! Volunteering for the chaplaincy at the women's prison (federal penitentiary) leading a choir, teaching piano and singing, mentoring a self-taught guitar player, listening and praying with anyone who seeks me out.
