Lynda's Story

Life Twice divorced - three children (Donald Miller - 41, Mikey Miller-35, Traci (Sudduth) Kennedy - 30) . Three grandsons, Ashton- 11, Quentin -6, Liam - 2. A granddaughter, Hadley, born 11/11/11 ! Isn't that rich? Still single - still live in Lexington. My sons now both live in Louisville and my daughter in Georgetown. 2011 was quite eventful. My oldest son got married, my daughter got re-married and my youngest son had a daughter (Hadley). I am no longer working, but that is a major relief. Not as much money now, but way less stress. What a year, huh? My only brother, Bobby, died April, 2009 - then my half-sister had a stroke September, 2009. (but she's much better now.) My mom turns 83 on March 22, so fortunate to still have her. So with deaths, births, illnesses, weddings, etc.....can't seem to land on my feet just yet. Update: Sept., 2012 - spending most of my time now in Richmond helping care for my mother and sister - both in ill health (but still live in Lexington). Not sure time or circumstances will allow me to make reunion this year, but will be thinking about everyone an...Expand for more
d remembering those early years - gosh, can't believe it's been 45 years - did I say 45 years???!!! How can that be - I'm only 39 !!!! School My biggest school crush was Louie Wilson! My second biggest crush was Glenn Jennings! Actually I had a few crushes, but those were the ones I remember the most. I wasn't all that interested in the guys at Central - just trying to make it through school & my 'love' interest was elsewhere! Several of my teachers were good....I think I respected most of them, except my freshman year Science teacher! I'd have to look through the yearbook to remember those names! NO....I would not like to do high school all over again. I couldn't wait to get out of there! There are a lot of things I would change about decisions I made AFTER graduation..I made a lot of mistakes as a young adult....but have learned my lessons very well. I guess the happiest I was in school was spending time with my girlfriends....feeling like there was always someone to talk to and have fun with. My very best girlfriend went to a different school though....and we DID have lots of crazy memories!!
