Lynda-jean's Story
I got married immediately out of high school - like twenty-one days after turning 21. My boyfriend told me I wasn't marriage material so I had to go out and find the first freak I could that would marry me and I did. We were married and in the Navy for two years until he was ousted on a BCD for burglarizing the Navy barracks every chance he got. He disappeared and I divorced him as soon as he surfaced. I stayed single for a lot of years. Had a baby with a friend while the plumbing still worked. She was a surprise, but a great one for me. I love being a Mom. ch. I managed to get away from him before my whole life was wrecked. Went back to college and finished my degree in Behavioral Science with a certificate in paralegal. I have been working in law firms for 25 years - figured I would make it legal... ha... ha. I love my work. I help people and it feels good. I do alot of bankruptcy work, some wills and estates with real estate contracts and corporate thrown in for good measure. It is challenging and I love it! I live in Denver area with my daughter who just started college this semester. We have a cat and a dog. I am happy. Lonely sometimes, but happy.
