Lynda's Story
I grew up in Irving and stayed in Irving until 1982. I then moved to Garland and then three years ago I moved to Sachse--just north of Garland.
I started working for Allstate Insurance in 1964 and attended college at night. I retired after 40 years with Allstate in 2004. I was a certified fraud investigator and was a member of the Special investigation Unit.
I married and have one son and 3 wonderful and beautiful grand chidren--ages 16, 12 and 4. They also live in Sachse--so I am able to see my family often. I became a widow in 1984. Remarried in 1987 to A wonderful man.

ary President. I am very involved in my church First Baptist Church of Sachse, Chamber of Commerce, President of our HOA and Chairperson of the Social and Advisory Committees. I am a member of our Historical Society, a member of our local Gardening Club (also held office),Federation of clubs and neighborhood watch. I like to keep up with our community and attend City Council meetings.
Both of my parents have passed and my older brother passed away at the age of 55. The only immediate family other than my son's family is my younger brother and his family.
That is about it. Like everyone, I have had lots of ups and downs since graduation--but would not trade my life for anything.
