Lynda's Story
After high school I moved to Texas, did bookkeeping and got my real estate license. I met tons of new people including my husband, Chris. He was born and raised in Texas- a real cowboy! He's great (most of the time), and gets along easily with everyone. We had a son, Jeff, in Oct. 1987, and a daughter, Jennie, in Jan. 1989- only 15 mos. later! (Glad I figured out what caused that!) :) I loved raising my kids, but I'm also glad they're grown!
My family and I moved to Dixon when the kids were very little, and stayed 11 1/2 years until we had enough of the cold. We are now in Ingleside, TX near Corpus Christi. It's beautiful here! We just love it.
We were living in a condo in Portland right on the coast with a beautiful view of the Corpus Christi Bay and it's downtown area. Truly beautiful!

from Corpus where it's more country-like. We've got over an acre of land here- plenty of room for more palm trees and fruit trees (still on my to do list). We have our own pool here (instead of sharing) which is much better. We're still only a mile from the water which is very convenient for us. I love to go boating and dolphin watching! We also go illegally to "our own" island which is full of sea shells! I always collect a bag or two which I bring home to my flower garden.
My daughter and I started a business in March 2007 selling high end designer clothing- mostly BCBG MAXAZRIA dresses and other designer dresses like a lot of what the movie stars wear (Vera Wang designer, etc). We're doing quite well, and it's a lot of fun! I've actually learned to have an eye for fashion. Can you believe??!!
