I'm nearing my nineteenth year in the English department of Colorado's Front Range Community College, Boulder County Campus.
My husband of over forty-two years and I have lived on our 20 acres slightly north of Longmont, CO, since 1979 and the landscaping is ALMOST done. Many of the fence posts need to be replaced, but my wildflowers and native grasses are doing well.

Update: In June of 2015, my last boarder, a woman who now lives with her daughter in Florida, gave me her Andalusian gelding Gypsy Ridge Don Diego. At 12, Diego is still young, and, luckily, I found a young woman to lease him in return for some raking and farm work. I met Kait when she came into the Writing Lab--another reason to continue working.
It's still nice here, but we now have fracking wells across the road from us. I try not to think about those.
