The three dogs at their 2012 blackberry feast. The only pick the ripe ones, even Buttons who is blind and leave the green/reddish ones for another day to ripen.
Sunrise before a rainy weekend....red sky in morning. Have to be up early and look quickly or it's gone. Within 2-3 minutes the sky was pale yellow.

After morning walkies in the fresh snow, I came in and noticed that the snow had blown against the screen on my landing door. It looks like a little dog is waiting to come in out of the cold!
Beau wasn't sure whether he liked his new snow jacket. But with 5 degrees outside this afternoon, it's more comfortable than going without.
A windy day on the cast. High tide was VERY high this morning before 8:00.

Beau sitting on his cushions in the corner where he can enjoy the sun from morning to sunset without moving until he is forced to go out for walks with Buttons and Rosco.
Joining the 20+ crocuses which are now past their prime is the first tiny bluebell huddled against the foundation waiting for the afternoon sun.
Spring is here! Crocuses have gone by. My bulbs at the end of the yard are starting to bloom. Scilla are in bloom and tulips and daffodils are in bud.

The new Buttons after her grooming appointment this afternoon. No more shaggy dog there. The boys will get theirs next week.
The frogs are still croaking and floating in the pond across the road from the yacht club. Derek used to wade in and catch them and bring them home to play in his small wading pool. .
