Lynden's Story
Well, I spent 40 years working in the gaming industry in Nevada. I started a summer job as a craps dealer trainee at a casino at Lake Tahoe, one of the places I have always loved. Seems to be a contradiction to be in a place of such beauty, working in such a negative atmosphere, but many college students work at 'The Lake' in the summers, or did when I was in college.
Because the money was easy, it led me to Las Vegas for bett...Expand for more
er job, better money, and the rest is history. I ended up working in the industry until I retired.
While working at a Las Vegas Strip casino, I started taking Theater classes at UNLV. I then signed up with a modeling agency, working print jobs and modeling ski wear at the Ski Convention in Las Vegas.
Then my mind thought I could tackle Hollywood, so after two years at UNLV, I moved to Los Angeles. WAs there for six years.
