Lynell's Story
Life
Graduated from UCA in 1984 - B.S. Sociology/Psychology
Moved back to Minneapolis,MN (where I'm from - didn't move to Arkansas until 6th grade) in 1988. Have worked as a Child Protection Social Worker for 21 years and am still not burned out!!
Have been married to my wonderful husband, Joe Tanner, for 18 years and we have a daughter, Kayla (17), who will be a Sr. this year. We also have 2 sons - Bryn (15) who will be a Freshman and Jake (11) who will be in 6th grade this Fall. Being a parent has certainly been my biggest challenge - AND my biggest reward. y've grown up. As we say in Minnesota - Uff-Dah!
We like to spend time at our lake place in Northern Minnesota, go to Twins games, Vikings games, Timberwolves games and watch our children compete in softball, cross-country, tennis, baksetball, baseball and football. Kayla auditioned for a Twin Cities Girls Choir in 9th grade and her affiliation with Partners in Praise has brought her to Spain, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, San Francisco and they are planning a tour to Italy in 2007!! She's even let mom tag along on the European tours - what a blast!!
