Lynette's Story
Life
Well, Moved to Florida in 1981, thinking this would be a dream come true and a perfect marriage..no so. Anyway, I have moved on. Live in Bradenton, Florida. I am a Preschool teacher for the Early Head Start school system. I have been a teacher for 14 years. I really love the infants and toddlers. I have a grown daughter now 22 and married. She just moved into her own first home. I own my home, and live with my 6 cats. I am a very big cat lover. I was for awhile volunteering for the Humane Society. my home. I still have my 2 brothers in Oak Lawn and my Mother. I go up there every year to visit.
Workplace
Working with children has been something I always wanted to do. As early as when I babysat as a teen. I now work a Early Head Start school in Sarasota Florida. I have been teaching infants thru toddlers for 14 years now. From 1973 when I graduated up until now I always worked in a office setting. What I do now is so much more rewarding. Many of my children come from broken homes, poverty level or one parent homes. It is just a joy to be able to teach and guide these little ones.
