Lynita's Story
I'm Divorced with 2 kids, Kristi and Tyler.
Life Bio: 1984- I started to work at Disney when I was 16. September 1985-After graduation, as soon as I turned 18, Rachael Toole and I moved to Kissimmee and became roommates. I attended Valencia Community College. June 1988-I met my husband, Greg, and we were married in 1990. Our daughter, Kristi, was born ten months later in April 1991. Our son, Tyler, was born in July 1993. August 2003-Joined Mary Kay to become an independent beauty consultant while still working at Disney. 1998-I left Disney due to my husband's job change to move to Coral Springs, FL. Feb. 1999-We bought a house in the West Palm Beach area where I stayed home with the kids until working for my husband's underground boring business until the huricanes caused the business to fail. Feb. 2003-Started working at my church as a cooridnator in children's ministry. Nov. 2004-I started to work at an elementary school as a teacher's aide then moved to the front office as the attendance clerk. September 2007-Greg files for divorce then puts it on hold to work on our marriage, but he refuses to do any work? I don't get it. I give it my all, but nothing I do is right and we live like roommates. Why is it? It takes two people to say "I do", but only one to say "I don't." I wish divorce on no one. I neve...Expand for more
r wanted this for my family, especailly my children. It has been the worst time of my life. I understand why God hates divorce. 2009- I join Divorce Care at my church. It has really helped me to start getting through the pain of the emotional roller coaster ride. God gives me peace and comfort.
2009-This year Kristi a senior. She is a honor student, plays clarinet ,softball, and a State Champion! Seminole Ridge Marching Band won State Championship in the FMBA. Kristi was a section leader, voted Most Likable and a soloist in marching band. She is attending Palm Beach State College and she wants to become a chef someday.
2010-After 3 years of trying everything possible to save my marriage, enduring lies and deception, the divorce is final. Now, time for me to move forward, take care of myself, and go back to school.
2011-Tyler is a senior. He is an honor student, plays football and baseball. Tyler was a driving force in taking the Seminole Ridge football team to it's first District Championship and onto the State playoffs. He plays fullback and linebacker. He will be going to Colgate University in New York on an academic scholarship to play football. One day, Tyler wants to play in the NFL.
