I got married to Paul in 1981, I met him at work, in 1980, it was love at first site, haaa. I worked at Fisher Body on Colwater Road till '85, the entire time went to college, got my Associate Degree in Nursing in '85,started working in ICU and surgery mostly at Hurley 'till 2000.(SURGERY is where all shyness went OUT the window... :) That's a do or die place, I just happened to find out that I was an adrenaline junkie! Then hubby retired, we moved up to Gladwin, built a beautiful 3 story victorian house on Lake Lancer. I designed it, Paul built it. Never had any kids, so working was my baby. Now my hubby and I live in Texas and are LOVING it. There is no depression/recession here! I have to say, I'm glad I'm out of Michigan, but I like my travels back home for visits. I do sell barbie and other things on ebay once in a while, hubby has made a hobby out of his machine shop here. He's a retired GM guy as well as retired military ...Expand for more
