Lynn's Story

Wahoo... I finally retired, in March 2014, after 40+ years at Unisys Corporation. Can't say that I miss it one bit! I'm enjoying reading (mysteries, what else is there?), working on quilts (and using scraps to make placemats for Meals on Wheels), gardening and the luxury of sleeping in until 7AM. Have enjoyed the freedom to go to museums, the movies, and local events such as an Herb Festival in York, PA, and a Gourd Festival in Lebanon, PA. Am volunteering once a week in our church music lib...Expand for more
rary...although I might just have a hangnail next year when its time to polish hand bells! Looking forward to some travel too. Ink late June, I'm off to San Francisco to celebrate my Aunt's 90th birthday. In late July, I plan to be in the Springs and will attend the reunion picnic. Will return to San Fran again in the late fall, as that's my fav time to be in the area. Hope retirement is a great for all the rest of you! Sad to say, I lost my husband and best friend to cancer on July 18, 2015.
