Lynn's Story
Life
My husband and I are new empty nesters. Our house is currently in clean-out mode. I'm trying to get it to the point where it is easy to maintain so I can get on with my own interests.
After working as a church Christian Education Director and a middle school English teacher, I have decided to stay home and manage the house and family. I love this job! I love the quiet and the opportunity to explore creative endeavors.
I have been married to a great man for 29 years! I am amazed how in-sync we are after all this time. We have three sons together, ages 25, 21, and 19. The youngest just left for college.
The men as a group love baseball. I love them, so I celebrate their unity and tolerate all the baseball they watch. ...Expand for more
Our middle child is a violin performance major in college, hoping to get into a good grad school. Our oldest is a store manager with a wife, son, and daughter.
I love to joke about all the testosterone in this house, but I always got along with guys better than girls. God knew what he was doing. My daughter-in-law and granddaughter, however, have been wonderful gifts.
School
I am so glad I went up into the tower. Was the access through Mr. Miles' chemistry closet, into the attic, then across the attic to the tower? I didn't think of it for many years, then I wasn't sure I remembered correctly. Oh, and did anyone else in band totally hate the football games and love concert season? I adored working on Each Has Spoken.
