Life
This site? I do not really know what possessed me to check out classmates.com. Most likely boredom tonight as I am home from work late and my mind is busy.
Marriage? I have learned that it is better to just date, have fun and enjoy it while the timing works. Besides, I love being single, I love my own space, and, the perfect relationship would be me in my house, and he in his which should be at least 1 mile away from my house. HA! Besides, I am a better dog person and have two - an english pointer and a cocker spaniel.
What am I doing now? I have done a great many things in my life, had several careers and am once again working as an RN (nurse) and DNO (Director of Nursing Operations) yet, I have no intention of retiring as one. As a nurse or nurse manager I find that to succeed you must be a door mat, I have grown up and I want to express my opinion for what is right or wrong. high tech, hospitality, etc) with Fortune 50, 100 and 500 companies. I tried to get transferred to London (where one of the parent companies was based), or Germany or France, but I never got there with business. I so wanted to live in Europe! I got tired of traveling literally all the time, though I did love sales management - it really is what I am best at and most enjoy.
So, I have no children - will most likely be my greatest regret - always thought I'd have kids and a long-term marriage - but, I have a close community of great friends and I am Aunt Lynnie to all their kids. I don't think I look the same (chin length hair with bangs), though I must have aged well as I am often guessed for 10-12 years younger than I am.
Well, I am heading to my Jacuzzi with a glass of wine, and a bit of jazz with a view of the mountains...I will hope to hear from old friends when you have a chance. In retrospect I think life has brought me all I asked for and then some. Tell me, has life brought you all your dreams? Are you happy?
