Lynn's Story
I guess I really shouldn't claim Avondale High school, since I moved in the 10th grade, but it was the one school where I was made to feel that I belonged. I attended Avondale Junior High then Avondale High School, which is the longest I was ever in one area for school, so....Anyhow, for anyone who might remember me, I moved to Florida in January of my 10th grade. After school, I married and had two children. That only lasted for a few years, but I was blessed enough to see quite a bit of the east coast and even overseas. I am now a widow. ldren. 3 boys and 1 girl, my youngest is a boy and he is only 11, so he keeps me hopping. I currently live in NC where my two oldest boys live also. My daughter is attending college in Kentucky where I had lived with my husband before he passed away. I am blessed to serve as a volunteer Guardian ad litem which is where my heart is. Having been a foster child myself, I have always wanted to help other children in similar situations. My memory of the time in Michigan is not the greatest, but I look forward to connecting with those I went to school with.
