Lynn's Story
As a lot of ya'll know, I got married the day after we graduated. Dumb move. I was with Billy about 7 yrs. We had one son, Eric. I got my nursing degree. I worked at some of the biggest hospitals in Houston, Tx. Mainly at Texas Childrens but sometimes at St. Lukes Heart. I remarried to Kenneth Smith. We have one son Kenny Jr. I have 2 grandsons, Gaberial & Dusten Bland. They are 11. I lost my Mom in 1978 from a brain hemorrhage. Lost my dad in 1993 to respiratory disease. in 1996 my oldest sister Sue Davis got Esophageal cancer. She went into remission but it came back a couple of yrs later. Then it spread to her spine. They did surgery. But it came back in 2013. After about a month we lost her. I am still in Texas. Unfortunately, I had to stop my nursing because I started having seizures. I had to stop working because they can't control them completely. But we still go on. My youngest son moved 100 miles away, but we do see him. Would love to see our class again.
