Lynn's Story
I retired from the County of Los Angeles in 2002 after 30 years. I was a Superior Court Clerk working in the courtroom with the judge for 27 of those years. I was married to a deputy sheriff who also worked in the courthouse for 9 years. He died of lung cancer in 2003. I live in Torrance with 2 dogs and 1 cat. My brother Mark (class of 73) and his two children live a few blocks from me. He is a single parent and I help with the kids who are now 18 and 14. I do a lot of volu...Expand for more
nteer work with the Torrance Woman's Club. I am recording secretary of the South Bay Cities Genealogical Society and the Historical Society of Centinela Valley and First Vice President of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War Tent 86. I also volunteer at my nieces's school in the Art program. I have a handicapped uncle that I help with his caregivers and finances. I have a time share membership and like to get away when I can find time. I enjoy plays and concerts.
