Life i met my spouse thru a friend. but My Pets are my life and carreer. i have a choclate lab and 20 horses. my husband and i breed quarter horses and paint horses. being afraid of animals as a kid, this was quite an accomplishment for me. my daughter graduated college in 99' and was married in november of 2001. i also have 3 step children, 2 have finished college, and the oldest has taken a break from his studies. i would love to hear from old friends from ORIOLE PARK BRANCH school. i live in northwest illinois and have a very happy life. that's it for now! hope to hear from you!........ update--=04-20-08 i am currently on what is known in the horse breeding world as, "foal watch". this consists of checking your expectant mare every few hours so you are available for help if she (your mare) needs you or the vet. usually things go smoothly, but after waiting the length of their pregnancy, 11 months, you don't want to take any chances. there is nothing to compare to watching your mare's baby being born! if anyone wants to hear more about it, i have 3 due within the next month or 2. when it gets really close i have to get up several times a night, so you might see me on the internet at odd times! thought i would add to this: i just became a grandma for the first time, how exciting!!! my daughter and her husband just had a baby girl!!! update-my grandaughter, mia, is now two and a half years old! how time flies. of course she is the smartest most beautiful grandchild ever!!!!:) i couldn't be more thrilled!!! new subject: if anyone know's debbie alberti, or linda belloumini, kim stemweddle and or anyone from the 1970 o.p.branch, i would love to contact them or hear from them. in fact i would love to hear from anyone from the 1969 or 1970 o.p.branch; we were a small group so i would love to chat. update: lynnie p.s. up until 1989 my life was a total mess and it sucked. then i grew up! it is much better now except for the fact i may soon be filing for divorce after 17 years of marriage. this will be very difficult for me. i do not take change well. i only hope i can stay on my horse farm with two or three of my horses. i am not ready to get another dog, i'm still grieving over my lab. boy i sound like debbie downer!!! i better close now. later dudes update 5-2010 lost oldest stepson to an accidental pain med overdose...to sad to say more about... my husband and i have managed to work things out now for the last 2 years or so...although he is unfortunately not been well in about 3 years... still no new dog...to busy going back and forth to chg to commit to that right now..also burned out my shoulder and i need surgery...correction, have needed surgery for torn rotater cuff and bone spurs...very painful!!!, but i have been putting it off for about 2 or 3 years cause i am too busy to take the time off! no more foals for now! and i am down to 16 horses...3 are living elsewhere on a training farm for the show circut... we do not show but these three 3 year olds are turning out to be show material! should be pretty exciting to see how they do...if well it would make th...Expand for more
