Life
Boy, where to start...After graduation in 1977, I moved to Santa Barbara and spent 5 years at UCSB earning a BA in Developmental Psychology. I stayed in the central coast area working various jobs then finally decided to go to graduate school and earned a master's degree in psychology. While in grad school, I was working for Santa Barbara County as a Probation Officer (yeah, can you see me arresting people? That was the fun part!). That is where I met my future husband Wes (no, he wasn't on my caseload), who also worked for the probation department as a supervisor at another site. We dated for about 4 years and were married on Sept 13, 2004 in Maui.
My husband and I left the central coast area in Feb, 2006, and moved to Mendocino County where...Expand for more
he is now the head of the probation department. In Oct, 2006, I became licenced as a marriage and family therapist and now work at a non-profit agency providing social services to keep senior citizens in their homes and out of skilled nursing facilities.
Well, I guess that brings us up to date. In my free time I work out, weight train and started taking ballet to fulfill a childhood fantasy. I never had children, but have two dogs who believe they are human, except for when they lay in the dirt and try to eat their own poop.
I'm looking forward to my 30th HS reunion this October and hope to recognize a few people. I've actually never been to a single reunion, but figured "what the heck".
