Life 2007 finds me in the middle of raising a second family. 13 years ago I found myself with a little 2 year old boy placed with me through CPS. That was the start of this wonderful family I now have. Dustin is 15, Brianna is 6 (got her a 4 months), Gary is 5 (got him at 1 year) and Mari is 2 (got her at 4 months). Dustin and Brianna were both drug afected at birth and Gary was addicted so he went right into a specialo needs foster home with a registered nurse for his first year of life. Mari was born in prison so she was clean at birth. They all have the same bio mom but Dustin has a different dad. Thye three youngest are part Yakima Indian and I had to FIGHT to keep these kids once paternity was determined....and fight I did! I ended up adopting the bio mom about 4 years ago and that seemed to satisfy the tribe enough to grant me legal guardianship of the 3 youngest. So at 50 years old now, I have four kids under 16. My son will be 25 on 1/8 and he graduatede from Mt. Rainier in 2000. He attended Seattle Christian School until the 8th grade and then transfered to Mt. Rainier for his last 4 years of high school. I work a full time job that I have been at for 16 years....news...Expand for more
