Lynn's Story
I left AHS in 1962 when my family moved to Bangkok, Thailand. I graduated from high school there a year later (in 1963) and came back to the United States to attend Oregon State University, I earned a BS in Business there, then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. I worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 10 years, where I met my future husband. John and I were married in 1974, and had our first daughter, Jennifer, in 1977. really is), where I went to work as the executive assistant to the superintendent of schools. Our second daughter, Rebecca, was born in 1981. I continued to work for the school district for 25 years, retiring in 2005.
Since retirement, we have had 3 grandchildren join our family and have traveled as extensively as our funds, time and energy will allow: Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Europe (several trips), South America, the Caribbean, Alaska and more to come (we hope).
