Here I am, 20 years later, a professional writer, a salsa dancer, a cyclist, a yogini, a mom, a lover, a friend, a singer. I love how my life has turned out so far. I own my own house. I've traveled a few places (but not enough places!). I found my birthparents and rejuvenated my relationship with my adopted parents. I've climbed a 14'er, jum...Expand for more
ped out of an airplane, written a novel, won poetry contests, won a national short story contest. I've progressed professionally and I've just taken another leap forward. I'm incredibly self-aware and have a newfound spirituality. I'm in love for probably the first time in my life. My daughter is smart, and funny, and too much like me in many ways.
