Lynn's Story
Lynn currently calls Bethlehem, PA, home. She has been married to John Welden since 1970. Lynn's schools include Hanover Park High School and she went on to graduate from Ithaca College (BFA - Liberal Arts and Performance) in May of 1970. Lynn also studied Interior Design at UCLA, and holds a Certificate of Public Relations study from NYU.
Now retired, her working years included, most recently, handling the Marketing/PR responsibilities at the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP), a well-regarded, innovative graduate school in Bethlehem; as Managing Editor of The Nouveau Magazine for ten years while living in Bucks County, PA (1996 -2014); and as Director of Development at the Shakespeare Festival of NJ, in Madison, NJ. She and John also lived in Santa Monica, CA, from 1983-1988 during which time she worked with the VP for Current Programming at MGM/UA Television. (Remember "30 Something" and "The Dirty Dozen" ?!) Although sidelined by a major illness in 1979, Lynn was able to pursue her love of acting and music until then. During this time, Lynn appeared in repertory and musical theatre productions, and on Broadway in Tom Stoppard's comedy, "Dirty Linen." She also made several TV commercials and was fortunate enough to be selected to serve as script reader/analyst for one of the major literary agents at the ICM talent agency in NYC.
While she is neither a mother or a grandmother, Lynn and John are "parents" to Lilly and Lucy --- wonderful senior cats.
