Lynn's Story
Life
My family moved around alot when I was growing up. Five different homes in Pasadena and five different school districts. I spent Kindergarden at Jefferson Elementary, 1st and half of 2nd grade at Longfellow Elementary. The last half of 2nd grade through the 6th grade at Webster Elementary. I spent my entire Junior high shool years at Woodrow Wilson Junior High. I had to make up a couple of clases I did not do well in my 7th grade with summer school at John Marshall Junior High. I went to Pasadena High from 10th grade until 12th grade and switched to an experimental nightime High School at Blair High School for students who had full time jobs during the day. After graduating a semester early from High School, I joined the Navy and spent 2 years overseas. I visited 13 countries and truly saw the world. he Navy and worked full time while attending Rio Hondo College at night. I took a broadcasting class and a business class along with an advertising class. I moved to Belmont Shore and spent several years there before moving to Huntington Beach and went to Golden West College there. That is where I completed my education for business and also a class on real estate sales. I got married in 1980 and we moved from Huntington Beach to Big Bear Lake and now own a Real Estate and Vacation Rental Management Company. We have 2 kids. A daughter, 23,(who passed her state real estate exam and is working in our company for a year) and a son, 18. Erika (our daughter) lives in Huntington Beach and is doing well. She graduated from the American Broadcasting School. Our son, Logan, just graduated from Big Bear High School and is going off to college in Santa Barbara. We have lived in Big Bear for over 26 years now and we love it here. If you are ever in Big Bear, drop by Blue Skies Real Estate and Resort Rentals and say hello. (800)442-2422
