Lynne's Story
For the last 10 years my husband, Curtis and I have been living in Iowa. After my mom, Pat, has 6 bypasses, I had to come out to Iowa to care for her, from that I have gained 2 sons, 2 grandchildren, a boy and a girl with another boy on the way next month.
I have accomplished getting some of my nursing classes out of the way and going to continue them once I'm back in Arizona which is going to happen in the next 2 weeks.
I would love to get my old gang back together for a maj...Expand for more
or blowout 50th birthday in 2010, it would be so great to see everyone together even if it's just for one night. Telling stories and reliving our "glory days".
I think the biggest thing that I have learned from my 5 kids is that you have to step back and look at things from their point of view, don't discount their thoughts, emotions or the situation they might be in. Everything is not what it seems to them, eventhough you may have been there and done that, new day, new person.
