Lynne's Story
Life
As some of you know, I moved to Nashville, TN in 1985, when my dad got a job down here. I thought I would hate it, but it is a beautiful place. I worked for a couple of years, then began classes at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN. I majored in Math, with minors in Computer Science and Insurance, and graduated in May 1993. I met my husband, Mark, at a retail job/family business that I started in 1988 working through school, and got married in September 1993. I continued to work at my husband's family business until 1998. In 1998, I went looking for a job in insurance, preferably not in sales. I was lucky enough to find a job as a customer service representative at a medical malpractice insurance company. I have been here ever since, 8 years now, and I love my job. for the chiropractic malpractice insurance program here at the company. I have been happily married for 12 1/2 years to date. In 1997, Mark and I moved out to the country, southwest of Nashville. We currently have 5 acres of land, and are in the process of closing on a purchase of 18 more acres (right next door) later this week. I love living in the country. We have two German Shepherd Dogs, and a third mixed breed that weighs over 100 lbs. They are our children, and pretty much run our life. Other than our home and our "children," we enjoy riding motorcycles - I have a Suzuki SV650S and my husband has an Aprilia Mille - and fishing on the local rivers from our 1998 Bass Cat boat.
I am extremely happy with how my life turned out. It wasn't exactly what I expected, but I think it's probably better.
