Life
Hello classmates! August,2007
I have lived in Lexington MA for the past 37 years. My husband Don and I have been married for 40 years (1967)and have two grown daughters, Tia, and Shana. Both are married now, Tia for 7 years and Shana, just last summer with a lovely reception in our back yard.
Our girls have done well for themselves. Tia is an exec at eBay in California and Shana has made a career in international public health work, following a stint in the Peace Corps in the late 90's.
We have two little grandsons living in the Bay area. We try to visit Tia and her family at least 3 times a year and are considering moving there at some point for part of the year.
Don is an optical engineer, now doing consulting.I attended Clark University and later Boston Univ School of Social Work in the late 60's. I have a private practice in psychotherapy in Lexington and Danvers. Currently I limit the practice to less than 20 hours per week so I ca...Expand for more
n enjoy a balanced life.
My other interests include gardening, a women's investment club, travel to interesting places, especially,Asia and parts of Europe, weekends away to New England destinations, particularly in the summer. We enjoy x-country skiing, and belong to a local Ski club in New Hampshire.
We enjoy a busy Lexington life with dear friends who go back thirty plus years. So far our health has been good.
I've stayed in touch with several AHS classmates and have had mini reunions with Sue, Prue, Marilyn, and Linda over the past ten years or so.It's been fun to see our lives evolve over the years. There's nothing like staying in contact with old friends of the heart!
Now that I have reached 65, and I am grateful for that, and am on Medicare(can't believe that!!)I feel excited about the years ahead. Hopefully, more travel and perhaps a move,or maybe a new avocation at some point.I've always wanted to run a B&B or have a small business!! Who knows!
Fondly, Lynne Yansen
