Lynne's Story
Life
IÂm living in Texas and teaching special education at a local elementary school. I graduated with my MasterÂs Degree in Education in 2006. I never thought I would be a teacher, especially since I struggled in school so much. I discovered that I have dyslexia, which explains why school was so difficult for me.
I've gotten into body building lately. Not bulking so much as losing the fat and gaining some muscle. I've been thinking about doing a figure competition, BUT, the eating part or lack of eating is pretty difficult for me. I live a Body-for-Life life style for the most part.
I've got the most wonderful kids in the world. I don't know how I got so lucky! My oldest is going into the Air Force soon, my younger two do well in school...Expand for more

College
I graduated from University of Alaska, Fairbanks with a BachelorÂs of Arts and Science and a minor in Elementary Education in 2004. I was sad to leave Alaska to move to Hawaii, but what a wonderful experience it was. I graduated from University of Hawaii, Manoa with a MasterÂs degree in Education in Special Education. I barely made CÂc in school and so for me to be a teacher is so ironic. One of the things I love about teaching is that I TOTALLY understand what it is like to struggle in school. My main special ed interest falls in the Autism spectrum of disabilities. When my kids graduate from high school I would like to go to medical school-well see about that though!
