Life After high school, I attempted to go to college at Kendall but I was unfocused. I became pregnant with my first child and made a decision to raise her alone. The summer of 89 I joined the army and when Saddam invaded Kuwait I was deployed and spent a year in the desert. I was a combat medic. I met my first husband there, we married and I moved to Nebraska for a while. We had another daughter and I went on active duty in 95 and was stationed in Oklahoma at Ft Sill. From there I divorced my husband and was shortly thereafter deployed again to Korea. I met my current spouse in Korea and we have been happily married for the last 7 years. My children are nearly grown and both very bright. I am currently in college working on my masters in Education. I plan to teach political science in the future and it is history for now.
