Lynnette's Story
Life
After high school, I attended Missouri Southern and graduated in 1989 with a B.S. in chemistry. I married Robert Stokes from Wyandotte, OK, in 1988; and he graduated from Southern with a B.S. in math. He received a Masters in math from the University of Utah in 1991, and worked toward his doctorate at OK State but did not complete it. In 1993, we moved to Carl Junction, MO, where we still reside. Robert worked at Pitsco in Pittsburg, KS, as a curriculum developer; and I became a stay-at-home mom. We now have four kids, three boys and one girl. The oldest was born in 1993 and the youngest in 2001.
In 2005, Robert quit his job to start his own curriculum developing and consulting company. I now work with him in the business, which we operate out of our home.
