Lynnette's Story
Life
I have been married for almost 29 years and I have three beautiful daughters. We own the house I grew up in. It was built in 1947 by my parents and my grandparents. My maiden name was Webster and I have one older brother and 3 younger sisters, all graduates of Frontier. I have been a nurse for 30 some years and have worked in many different areas of the nursing field. I have a 2 year associates degree from Trocaire College. Presently I teach at Aspire of WNY,formly UCPA of WNY.I also cover the medical needs of the MR/DD adults in one of our 43 group homes. The job is very rewarding. When not at work I can usually be found at home doing yard work or house work and redecorating projects in the home with Hubby's help.

completed my studies with the undying love and support of my husband. Would I do it again? NO!!!!!!!!!! I would have to be crazy. I lost my father a year into my studies and my mother in law a year after I graduated. I also had my husband, my mother in law and two of my three children in the hospital during the time I was in school and working. I don't regret going though!!!!!
Workplace
I am a registered nurse who presently works with mentally retarded and developmentally disabled adults and children. I teach all the incoming direct care staff about how to safely administer medications and give first aid to our consumers in the group homes we service. I recently became a ceritfied America Heart Association CPR instructor and will also be teaching different CPR courses to our staff.This job is very rewarding.
