Lynnette's Story
I don't think anyone would of thought of me as an artist when I was in High School. I barely squeaked by Art 101 with a C. But that's what I am. I like to paint landscapes, still life and portraits. And I love to paint flowers. I'm currently working on paintings for an installation at a dentist's office. A lot of my work can be found on my Facebook page (Lynnette Horn).
I've done so much since high school. I've been married twice. My first husband was a minister. We divorced in 85 when he decided to leave the ministry and sleep with every female he could get his hands on. We had 3 children together. After a stint as a single mom I met my soul mate, Al. We've been married 20 years and celebrated our anniversary in Hawaii. He brought 2 kids into the mix. Now we have 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

aud from Maryville University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications (minor in Business). I had to go through a lot of life before making the commitment to go back and finish. But I'm very glad I did.
I love traveling. Al and I took a nine-month trip around the country and saw all 48 of the lower states, plus six Canadian provinces. Hawaii was this year, and Alaska is coming up for our 25th anniversary. We've been to Spain and Jamaica, We've also traveled numerous times to Mexico. And I've traveled to Honduras with a mission group where I painted a mural of Noah's Ark on the wall of a Sunday School room in a mountain village that didn't even have running water or electricity. It was a life altering experience.
Hobbies including photography and reading--love, love, love dystopian novels and paranormal romance.
