Lyric's Story
What a long, strange trip it's been! Worked for a year after graduation, went to Casper College, got married, got my associate's degree in accounting, got divorced. Went back to Rawlins, got married, had two kids, got divorced - again! Sheesh! Went back to college at UW, got my Bachelor's degree in accounting in 1994.
My dad died in 1996 and I moved in with my mom to take care of her. In 1997 gave my life to Jesus, and oh how He has transformed my life! My mom went into the nursing home in 1998 and died in 2002.
After twelve years of being single, married again (David Eads, 1974) in 2002 (third time's the charm). He is a master electrician & has two sons that are 31 (David Jr.) and 22 (Johnathan); my children are now 23 (Sarah) and 26 (Scott - my prodigal) and I am now doing accounting for Wyoming Diesel in Rawlins as a telecommuter, and am a Pastor's wife and homemaker. Dave became a licensed minister in 2004 and in 2005 God called us to go to Buffalo, WY but we waited until Sarah graduated in 5/06 and went off to Bible College. We still need to sell our house in Rawlins sold ...Expand for more
(5 beds, 2 baths - if you have any leads . . .) We are now living in Buffalo, building a congregation, and Dave is working for Uranium One as their Master Electrician.
Dave and I love living for the Lord and are so grateful for all the things He has done for us. Our favorite things are church and church activities, spending time with family, and traveling and exploring together. I travel to Texas at least once a year to see Sarah, and every year we go to Hungry Horse, Montana for church camp - We like camping and fishing, too, and since we live thisclose to the BigHorns, we're in the right place!
Workplace
I have almost always worked in accounting and bookkeeping, starting at the age of 9 for my dad's garage (Helton's Conoco). My two longest jobs were the Sinclair Refinery (12/80-1/91) and Wyoming Diesel Service (9/94-12/04). I was having health problems and I think I was also burned out with accounting (after 35 years!) so since we didn't really need the 2nd income, I 'retired' at the end of 2004. Now I am again doing bean counting & I love being able to stay at home to work!
