MARK's Story
I went to California Maritime Academy in July after graduation and graduated from there in '76. Been sailing as a deck officer ever since.
Seen alot of the world- West Africa, Brazil, Iceland, India, Singapore, Mexico, Guam and Papua New Guinea to name a few places.
Met my wife in Nigeria where she was in the Canadian Peace Corps in 1985 and we were married in 1988. And oddly enough, still are. We still live in SD.
I'd like to be there in September, but my schedule is pretty fluid so really don't know where I'll be then. If I'm in town, we'll be there.

p that lays fiber optic cable on the ocean floor. Been in the Gulf of Mexico, Canadian Maritimes recently and soon off to the Med and then Brazil for 2 different projects.
My wife Val will retire from teaching this coming June and we'll retire to the Boise, Idaho area. I'll work for another 4 years and then I can retire fully.
Missed the big reunion unfortunately. If we ever have another- do we REALLY have to wait for a year divisible by 5?- I'd love to be there. Isn't that what Homecoming football games are supposed to be about?
