MARVIN's Story
Attended PSU studied Chemical Engineering '59. Joined Union Carbide in the R&D department and attended Rutgers University studied Chemistry "67. Continued in R&D and became Group Manager/Worldwide Technology Manager. Business acquired by Amoco Chemical in1987, appointed Director R&D/Worldwide Technology Manager. Transferred to Dusseldorf, Germany 1990 to manage operations in Europe, Middle East and South Africa. . Appointed Business Manager 1994,retired 1998. Hold 13 USA patents, travelled to over 40 foreign countries. While employed lived in Somerville. NJ Belle Mead, NJ, Flowery Branch, GA., Dusseldorf, Germany. After retirement: built homes in Saylorsburg,PA, Absecon, NJ, Sugarloaf, PA. Married to Rosemarie for 53 years, two children (a boyand a girl) three grandchildren (boy and two girls). Rosemarie passed away December 26, 2013. Play golf in a couple leagues and with friends whenever possible.
