MacHelle's Story
Since high school.....
Attended college in Alamosa, Colorado. Spent my fare share of days snow skiing at Wolf Creek. Decided to be a ski instructor for a year after graduation.
Almost got married but thank you God that I didn't.
Moved back to DM for a few years. Worked for the Federal Home Loan Bank which became the Office of Thrift Supervision. I got in after all the major S&L debacles but it was still interesting. Was transferred to Dallas, TX. Lived there for 3 years. Was a devoted Cowboys fan during the era of Emmit Smith, Michael Irving, Troy Aiken, etc.
Been living in San Diego for 10 years now (hard to believe!) and I love...Expand for more
it! Transferred all my football devotion to the Bolts and love watching the Padres play. Decided to go to law school at the age of 37 (still debating on whether that was such a good idea) in San Diego and have been living in San Diego ever since.
Met my husband in 2003 and after 7 long months ;-) of dating we tied the knot. He has a son who just turned 16 that we have been raising.
I am blessed that all my family now lives in San Diego county (both brothers and my mom--not to mention sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews). I have found a good church home in Faith Chapel and love teaching God's word in Wednesday evening Bible study.
