Mack Patterson:  

Class of '64 Following high school spent 2 years at Foothill majoring in Industrial Design. Then next 2 1/2 years at San Jose State - Graduated with BA Applied Arts & Sciences - Special Major. First job - designed closed circuit TV's for medical /x-ray application. Hired by Lockheed 7 months later - developed pyrotechnic devices for a while - then logistics and product support - then prepared budget for Polaris, Poseidon, and Trident weapons platforms. Trasferred to Space Shuttle project at Vandenberg to set up and transition all computer support systems. Transferred back to missile systems for budget work and preparing special programs. Left Lockheed after 25 years and went to Tennessee where we bought 3 businesses for 10 years. Did investigative work for IRS, US postal Service, FBI, and Tennessee bureau of investigation Came back to California in 2004. Took a position with a philoantropist and worked on coordinating world leadership on controlling highly enriched uranium.
