Maggie's Story
Maggie is really Janet Cross from Chicago, Illinois. After moving to Calumet township she attended Ross elementary which became Ross Jr. high. Then Janet went to Calumet High Schoo graduating in 1961. She graduated from Ball State University in 1965 with a BS in Elementary Education, She taught at White Pigeon Community Schools retiring in 1999. In 1979 she helped her husband , start a canoe and kayak company , Fluid Fun Canoes.
Maggie's interests include kayaking racing,( 4 time National Champion), health food, traveling including 48 out of 50 states and 10 other countries, biking, currently using recumbent Trikke touring. Books she likes include anthropology an...Expand for more

Maggie had two children with husband, Terry. Mathew was on the 1980 Olympic kayak team. Zan is a master marionette carver. She produces the shows for her husband's puppet company. She is a Canon lawyer.
