Maggie is from Jewel City, Kentucky. Maggie's schools include Southwest Elementary, Southwest Middle School , Lakeland High School and Seminole College.
Music Maggie likes includes Yanni, Nathan Pacheco, Tim Janis, Josh Turner, .....country, rock and roll, just about anything goes except for rap!. Books Maggie likes include Ann Rule True Crime, true investigation novels. . Movies Maggie likes include Shawshank Redemption, You've Got Mail, Fried Green Tomatoes. TV shows Maggie likes include NCIS, Project Runway (I'm a sewer), Law & Order SVU, Downton Abbey, Bosch, Goliath, The Spanish Princess, Outlander....lots of PBS shows..

I am married to my second husband, Doug, with 3 girls and 2 grandsons & 1 granddaughter. As of Feb. 2020 I now am a “Great Grandmother” (I always knew I was “great”, but now I have the official title)....with twin girls from our oldest grandson and his wife.
I moved back to Lakeland in 2010 to be close to three of my sisters and am loving my new 55+ community. As of 2020 I now have my oldest sister and my youngest sister and her husband living in my community.....it’s a wonderful place to call home.
I love to cook, quilt, and stay involved with different activities within the community. I’m even keeping up with my banking skills by handling the social clubs treasurer position. I have entered several quilts and quilted items in the 2019 & 2020 Strawberry Festival and won 3 blue ribbons and 1 second place ribbon. Watch out 2021.... I want that “Best of Show” ribbon !
