Maggie (Margaret)'s Story
Hume Mo, a place where seldom is heard by people in Kansas City. I tell them Hume, just west of Rich Hill. Yes, a part of my heritage of which I am very proud of. My childhood on the farm and living in a small rural area is priceless.
High School was fun for me, I loved school, most of the teachers were kind and nice. Hume was just a nice place to grow up and then go exploring the world, of which I did, Lenexa Kansas, a part of Kansas City. I didn't make it far did I!!!
Actually I did have an opportunity to go to Russia 10 years ago for 14 days, I had to pinch myself to make sure it was me there. That trip was a blessing straight from God to me.

close in miles and heart. Also close in heart are two very dear people that are like pearls in my life now and then, Joyce Cannon and Mildred Bell. They are precious daughters of our Heavenly Father and I hold their friendship dear.
I worked for Kansas City Life Ins for 38 years, and retired from there 5 years ago. I never dreamed that the commerce classes in school, typing, shorthand, etc would be the preparation needed; God had prepared me in high school for the career He would put me in to provide for my family and home. I now enjoy one day at a time in the Lord and daily ask Him to establish my thoughts and direct my paths. Lord of our past and Lord of our Future, praise the Lord. Maggie
