Maia's Story

Life When I left Mpls for boot camp I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Now that I'm here, I can't complain too much. I have a beautiful 9-yr old daughter. We're currently living in Okinawa Japan. We've lived in Tacoma (McChord AFB) WA & Belleville (Scott AFB) IL. The ...Expand for more
longer I'm in, the more I miss home - or at least the people I left behind. But, the military has treated us well. We're going new places & learning a lot about other people. It's been fun. The only downside is not having a family. Hopefully that will change at some point in life.
