Malcolm's Story
Life after high school took all the usual routes:obtaining a double degree at UNC-Chapel Hill; working for several TV stations; getting married(and divorced); raising a daughter alone; working with my brothers in our heavy construction business(Utilities, Marine, Heavy Equipment, Unlimited); meeting my best friend while working on a project in Beaufort County (and preparing to celebrate our 17th anniversary); renovating 5 homes together; and seeing my daughter leave home to start her own life. e me. My best friend has been retired for over two years now, and we are embarked on our latest home project to build a new garage/workshop. I enjoy walks with my year-old chocolate lab along the waterfront and throughout the historic district. I often regret not having stayed in touch with all the friends I made during the years in Havelock, but I hope that this can be remedied now that I have been dragged into the current millenium and actually got connected to the Net for my current birthday.
